Weekend and Shutter Island

So I am a bit tired so this post wont be as exciting as my sisters. But Saturday went really well. My sister got a fantastic deal on a pair of jeans, under 10 bucks. Plus they looked great. We also saw shutter island and that movie was great too. Kinda confusing, infact there were parts of it I didn't get until I woke up this morning. Yeah, im still thinking about it now. I still feel like i need to watch the movie again. Funny thing is right after the movie my dad mentioned that he hadnt seen "Gangs in New York" which is also with Leo. When I finally got home after 11pm, I turned on the TV and saw that that movie was playing. I recorded it and plan on watching it later. Tonight I am too exhausted. I forgot that it was daylights savings time again and got all bummed when I found out it was an hour later than I thought.

Anyways I love hanging out with my fam and especially my sister. I am looking forward to the weekend after next we all get to go watch Alice in Wonderland together.
Unfortunately next weekend I have a stat test to take at 3:30 to after 5pm. I am also beginning my bus policy class.

Oh and my hair is great, and my husband George noticed it was cut right away. ugh!!! I forgot to not put my back towards him. bleh! I lied and told him that he is imagining things and that I didn't cut it. He does not believe me.

Next week is going to be really hard. I have to do hmk and begin studying for stats tomorrow night. Then Tuesday night I have class. Wed I have to see the client and afterwards I need to study some more stat. I figure monday I'll do half of chapter 6. then on Wed I'll do all of chapter 5, then Thursday I'll do more of chapter 6 and begin creating my card. Then Friday I'll finish my card and do some practice problems. Then saturday I'll do last minute reviews before the test. ick to tests!

Then of course sometime in between I have to do bus policy hmk too.

btw Kathryn, if you are reading this. Please post the picture with your bag and look it up online. I can't remember what it looks like.

haircuts

I think having it cut like the first one only leaving it an inch longer than the picture. So basically two and a half inches off my own hair. i could do styles like the other two if I were to curl it a little.
also i need to watch shutter island

So beautiful

art by brooklit on etsy.
I love her artwork. Unfortunately she is a tad pricey when it comes to her custom drawings. but I do love this particular piece of work. If his parents can get the house im thinking of getting this and hanging it up. Its 20 bucks.

I did find another artist that can draw my dress for much cheaper. I could always do it myself but that would take a lot of my time, especially with all the detail lace in my dress.

this is by gownsketch on etsy
She also does fantabulous designs at a more affordable price. So I may choose her to draw my dress.
I plan on having it framed and put next to one of my wedding photos that I will hang on our wall.

Another really cool idea, painted silk dress.

So I was at George's parents last Sunday for a mini celebration.barbeque.
It was great.

Although very interesting. So Karine and Joseph might be engaged. I was tempted to say congrats etc,. but apparently he hasn't asked her yet and it seemed like he didn't want to tell anyone. Since the entire night she was trying to get him to announce to us their consideration of getting married in Vegas. I realized that it would be kinda awesome if they got married in vegas on George's anniversary. If they did we would have the same anniversary. But on the other hand it seems like Joe may not be ready to get married yet. In which case they should really wait. But I am totally up for another party:) Specially since our party won't be for a while. I definitely want to graduate first and well not be too poor.

also going to the client's wasn't too bad today. And george is doing great with his blp course. :) He is coming home tonight though because he has school work to do. But for the rest of the week he has free dinners.

also dinner with my parents was phenominal. It was the best meal I had in a long time. It was not just dinner it was an experience. We went to
Valerianos in Los Gatos. We had like three appetizers. This sea food platter, calamari, and crab cakes. Then we had our meal. I had filet mignon, but george's prime rib was the best. It was soo buttery fall of the rib delice! My mom had this fish meal which was also great and Kathryn got this salad. My dad ordered the same as me. Then we followed with two chocolate deserts. This brownie icecream one and triple chocolate mouse. drooolll!!! My dad also had many kinds of alcohol in between and they also had beer. Plus we had the wonderful bread and olive oil thing. Sigh, truly it was an experience I will remember forever.
Too bad Roberta wasn't there. but it was still great. whohoo to being 27!

Seamstress

So I hung out with Zeba today. She told me that she actually knows a seamstress that can make any design dress I want and she charges very little. I can actually get any style I want for less than 100 bucks.
In which case I would go all out and get a dress much like this. Either in the same color, or in a cream color, or in a peachy blush color. Or I could get it in white with gold along the edges. But I actually really love the powdery blue of this dress.

This is originally by le spose di gio. It would be in the thousands.

A pretty good day

Today has been not bad. For one thing the horrid client wasn't there so I was able to work in peace. Plus I was able to go home early.

Reception colors
Gold and Silver tones.
I have always been a silver girl. But I am starting to love gold. The two together are even better.

Here are some gorgeous gold and silver looks.
First comes the cake!
I love the topsy turvy cake. I love cake in general.
This makes me think of movies like cinderella and sleeping beauty. It must be the pillow thing.
Then comes the Dress styles
This one is more casual but I love it

Another style i like

This one I think is extravagant, but it would be perfect if it were cut short to just after the first tier.
This dress is what I used to envision myself wearing as a little girl. I was obsessed with pretty dresses and princesses and the whole fairytale.

The only difference is that I would also have been wearing one of these.
Yes I realize this would be ridiculous. But there was a time when I was obsessed with these. Particularly after watching robin hood.
I was also obsessed with anne of a hundred days. I loved all her outfits
I was also pissed when she died.
aNYWAYS MOVING on
Shoes
Small kitten heal with long dress and taller dance heal for short dress. Although technically they all work, but the blingyness of the shoe will depend on the blingyness of the dress.
very very very important.
I am still in love with these adorable kitten heal shoes by bliss in Olana
But im willing to look into alternative styles if I cannot find my size for the above shoes.
I also like dance shoes like these.
Accessories
we cant forget the jewelry and hair pins
Here is how it goes, fancy blingy headpiece with simple gown and mother of pearl type haircomb for fancy friller dress.

The bridal bag
Finally here is a picture I just thought was pretty.
Now I am getting tired. But I totally want to do a gold and white french manicure with my natural nails.
Kinda like this but with gold glitter under the white.
Off I go, tomorrow is another day.

I want to crumble up

and just forget about everything.
But I have to do stat hmk tonight and come up with my presentation and fix up my white paper.
Plus Prep for going to the clients on Wed. I seriously cannot wait till this friday night. I also am having a hard time resisting scouring through my apartment in search of my bday gift. I am such a dork but I have no idea what George got me. I know he got me something because he made me to go the other room when he hid it. ugh!!!

also I found out that the shoe I love may not come in my size. ugh ugh ugh!!!! It might be worth stuffing padding in the back of the shoe to make it fit though. they are literally the most perfect shoes ever. Peep toe, kitten heal, fluffy bow. I hope it comes in a size five somewhere though.

also i love garlic! it is helping me a lot with the whole sick feeling.
