Reception style

I want it to be very Audrey Hephurn esque. in funny face
We still need to find a venue, but I think I'll talk that over with my parents in about a month. We need to start looking at locations. I still really like the place my neighbor got married, mainly because i like their prices.
I want to have my bridesmaids have a very elegant look, like Catherine Zeta Jones

I dont think we will do any walking down the aisle thing. But we may start off by welcoming everyone, and then maybe saying some vows and breaking the glass.
Then again maybe we will, simply because we skipped that part the firt time too.
Here are some tips

Tips for the Destination Bride

Hosting a Post-Wedding Celebration

Host a post-wedding celebration to include those who didn't attend your destination wedding!
At some point, just about every destination bride feels a little torn between being able to invite everyone to her wedding at home and only being able to host a relatively small number of guests at a wedding abroad. After all, having a destination wedding often means that some of your dearest well-wishers won't be able to leave home.
The solution: Host a fabulous celebration for those who didn't attendance your nuptials. The event can be an intimate, informal affair or a formal, full-scale wedding reception! Either way, with the right mix of details, they'll experience the sights, sounds and flavors of your wedding destination!

Tempt Their Taste Buds!

Start by creating a menu with an international flair. Let your menu reflect the flavors of the destination you were married in. For instance, if you were married in the Caribbean, design a menu featuring the tastes of the tropics. A rustic Tuscan wedding calls for a rich Mediterranean cuisine. Hire a caterer that can create authentic dishes or a sampling of ethnic appetizers that your guests will love.

Engage in a Little Show & Tell!

Have plenty of pictures on hand or allow guest to screen the video footage of your wedding. If you are hosting your reception at a large venue, set up a projection screen and have the video or still images loop throughout the duration of the event. Another cool idea is to take the best pictures from your weddings to a local print shop or Kinko's and create posters. Create a "gallery-style" post-nuptial celebration with the "art" prominently displayed around the space.

Dance to the Beat of a Different Drum!

Play a fun blend of music that features the rhythms from the region you visited. Or simply spin a collection of world music that celebrates cultures from the region you were in. Putumayo Records offers a vast selection of world music form every corner of the globe.

Let Them Eat Cake!

What better way to make guests feel like they are part of your wedding than a traditional cake cutting ceremony? Order a wedding cake that ties into your theme. If your wedding was a seaside event, have your cake designer create a wedding cake adorned with edible seashells. If you'd set off to Paris for your wedding, serve croquembouche.

Give a Token of Love!

Give your guests a keepsake favor that shows you were thinking about them. These gifts can be simple trinkets that reflect the culture, customs or art your destination. Consider gifts such as framed postcards, magnets or small containers labeled and filled with ethnic spices. Box the seasonings along with a popular recipe.

pretty good ideas.

Here is another gorgeous Audrey photo. I find her very elegant.
My dress will be short and long like this, only it is much closer to the body.
My dres is not as short as thins, but not as long as the other one.
I really love the hair to the side like this, with a pretty bridal clip.
This style I would leave my hair straight and just clip back a few strands. I would either wear a black ribbon headband or simple flowers like this.
If I could get something like this, with some black or colored accents to it, that would be perfect.

Now for the all important cake.
I definitely want something like this (unless of course it is free, in which case, free is better)
Only I would want the leaves and flowers to be orange and the cake color to be more of a cream color than white. THen either red velvet or chocolate inside. I am sleepy, gnite for now.

Love Love Love Ringo Starr

It don't come easy
You know it don't come easy
It don't come easy
You know it don't come easy

Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues
And you know it don't come easy
You don't have to shout or leap about
You can even play them easy
Forget about the past and all your sorrow
The future won't last
It will soon be your tomorrow

I don't ask for much
I only want trust
And you know it don't come easy
And this love of mine keeps growing all the time
And you know it just ain't easy
Open up your heart
Let's come together
Use a little luck
And we will make it work out better

Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues
And you know it don't come easy
You don't have to shout or leap about
You can even play them easy
Please remember peace is how we make it
Here within your reach
If you're big enough to take it

I don't ask for much
I only want trust
And you know it don't come easy
And this love of mine keeps growing all the time
And you know it don't come easy

Favorite Ringo songs: No no, Snookeroo, Octopus's Garden, With a little help from my friends, and a dose of rock n roll.

Eleanor Rigby written by McCartney and Lennon

Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people

Eleanor Rigby, picks up the rice
in the church where a wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window, wearing the face
that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

Father McKenzie, writing the words
of a sermon that no one will hear
No one comes near
Look at him working, darning his socks
in the night when there's nobody there
What does he care

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people

Eleanor Rigby, died in the church
and was buried along with her name
Nobody came
Father McKenzie, wiping the dirt
from his hands as he walks from the grave
No one was saved

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

Sloop John B

We come on the sloop john b
My grandfather and me
Around nassau town we did roam
Drinking all night
Got into a fight
Well I feel so broke up
I want to go home

So hoist up the john bs sail
See how the mainsail sets
Call for the captain ashore
Let me go home, let me go home
I wanna go home, yeah yeah
Well I feel so broke up
I wanna go home

The first mate he got drunk
And broke in the capns trunk
The constable had to come and take him away
Sheriff john stone
Why don't you leave me alone, yeah yeah
Well I feel so broke up I wanna go home

So hoist up the john bs sail
See how the mainsail sets
Call for the captain ashore
Let me go home, let me go home
I wanna go home, let me go home
Why don't you let me go home
(hoist up the john bs sail)
Hoist up the john b
I feel so broke up I wanna go home
Let me go home

The poor cook he caught the fits
And threw away all my grits
And then he took and he ate up all of my corn
Let me go home
Why don't they let me go home
This is the worst trip Ive ever been on

So hoist up the john bs sail
See how the mainsail sets
Call for the captain ashore
Let me go home, let me go home
I wanna go home, let me go home
Why don't you let me go home

Kentucky

My Old Kentucky Home

The sun shines bright in the old Kentucky home
'Tis summer, the people are gay
The corn top's ripe and the meadow's in the bloom
While the birds make music all the day
The young folks roll on the little cabin floor
All merry, all happy and bright
By'n by hard times comes a-knocking at the door
Then my old Kentucky home, good night
Chorus Weep no more, my lady
Oh, weep no more today
We will sing one song for the old Kentucky home
For the old Kentucky home far away
They hunt no more for possum and the coon
On the meadow, the hill, and the shore
They sing no more by the glimmer of the moon
On the bench by the old cabin door
The day goes by like a shadow o're the heart
With sorrow where all was delight
The time has come when the people have to part
Then my old Kentucky home, good-night
The head must bow and the back will have to bend
Wherever the darkey may go
A few more days, and the trouble all will end
In the field where the sugar-canes grow
A few more days for to tote the weary load
No matter, 'twill never be light
A few more days till we totter on the road
Then my old Kentucky home, good-night

I actually have this in a light purple shade. It looks like pjs but this one actually looks more like its supposed to be worn out.

I love this polished look for work, only I prefer it in green
every time i see this, I like it. At least on the model.
