Here is my reception bag:) I'll probably keep some tylenol, bandaids, my phone, my lipgloss, and my small veil in it.

a break

I am taking a break now.
We took care of most everything, we just have some last minute cleaning to do. But everything is pretty much put away and the house is vacuumed. So I am feeling better now. I am pooped. I cooked the meat sauce and just took a shower. It feels great to be clean. After I take the trash out and break down some recycling I am calling it a night.

We got some movies for tomorrow. Salt, some Nicholas Cage movie, and Cats and Dogs.

I also talked to Candace a little today. I can't wait to see her. She is gonna arrive next thursday:)

So here is what I have left to do for the reception.
1) Final dress fitting on Tuesday at 4pm.
2) Make centerpieces
3) put together favors and have them in order
4) get flowers (especially boquet)
5) get hershey kisses and use some roses for petals.
6) get everything to freedom hall on friday.
7) call cake people to see if they received the cake topper yet.
8) get brows waxed and upper lip waxed.
9) get nails done (hands and toes)
10) touch base with entire bridal party.
11) plan day with guests.

Sheesh quite a bit to do.

exhausted

So I have been cleaning on and off all day. It is now 4:38pm and I am exhausted. Our house is still not clean. But there isnt that much left. We just have a few more stuff to put away, recycling to put away, and vacuuming/dusting and laundry. We are about to head out to do some shopping.

When we return, george will eat while I put stuff away. I'll also throw in another load of laundry. Then George will vacuum while I cook the meatballs and my dinner.
Then I will put stuff away in the kitchen while george does some last minute dusting and wiping of counters.
Then I will fold laundry and we will get the bedroom ready and sleep.

update

the favors arrived today. The hearts are a lot smaller than i thought. I actually like them better, they look like candies.
The camera's arrived as well.

also got my stupid time of the month. cramps suck big time.
looking forward to seeing christine though.

oh and i  need to get down to san jose to deal with flowers and the pearl stuff.

Busy busy weeks ahead

So this week is gonna be hella busy.
Tomorrow
work: website and brochure
home: deep clean living room, kitchen, and bathroom, and so laundry, call maria and give her gift, mail out all holiday cards.
reception: 5:20pm go to bart station to pick up christine.
meet with christine and zeba to work on table cards, centerpieces, and seat chart.

Wed
home: deep clean computer room, my room, bedroom.
reception: gather all reception stuff together in my room.
music: 6:00pm meet with elite entertainment.

Thursday
home: clean garage
reception: call dress people if dress hasn't arrived yet.

Friday:
1) clean house entirely, dusting, vacuum, put everything in attic.
2) call glow to resched
3) drop off cake topper
4) go to costco for pizza, get tomato sauce and meat.
5) fred gift, and louise gift
6) have house ready for xmas

Saturday
Xmas, so do nothing.
(send parents home with centerpieces, favors etc.)

Sunday
clean some more. and relax.

Next week. (hopefully have dress ready)

test beauty looks. hair and makeup.

Tuesday
visit parents and get nails done. maybe.

prepare backyard for guests.

starting to worry

So I still havent heard from the dress people yet
we have tons of phone calls to make
our place isnt sparkling clean yet
we still have to do centerpieces, christmas cards, seat chart, table cards, blah lah lah.

AHHHHHHHH
and i just discovered we have less than 3 weeks. more like 2 weeks because we cant do anything on xmas day and a few days before. ahhhhh

wow writing vows is really hard. There are a lot of things I could say to george but in private since it is really cheesy.

so here is a sample of what I have come up with,

I choose you George to be my husband and partner in life in front of our friends and family. I promise to love and cherish you through the good times and bad. I promise to never walk away from you, instead I will stay and argue until we make up. I promise to cook more often and to not complain to much when its my turn to do the dishes. I promise to try not to nag you too much, even though your dirty sock almost made me faint. I promise to support you in your decisions and to let you have the remote every now and then. Most of all I promise to love you since I have found my home in you.

so frustrated

Sometimes George makes me want to scream. He can be so irresponsible. I ask him if he has a final exam. He tells me that his final project is his final exam. I tell him to double check and he tells me that his teacher didn't mention the exam. I tell him that he needs to not be an idiot and to check. He refuses and i check for him. I was right. He has a final exam, a final written project and presentation to make. The two combined is worth half of his grade. I tell him his project is not easy and he needs to get started now because he needs to be at least partyway done today. What do I find out. He hasnt even finished reading all the chapters yet. He still hmk to do on top of this and he is still playing his computer game. He can be such a child. If he fails this class, he certainly would have earned that grade. I ask him what day his final is going to be on. He tells me that he doenst know. How can you not know ugh!!!!!

With that said, I am pretty ok for my exam. I wont be getting an A. But as long as I get a grade above a D I can get a B in the class. I don't feel too bad. But I have to get cleaning. Today I plan on having my bedroom cleaned. I tink everything that needs to be stored away I will be into the living room for George to put in the attic when his final is over. He obviously wont be helping me with cleaning until his exam is over so for the next two weeks its gonna be on me. My final is on wed so I figure Thursday I'll spend the day cleaning the kitchen and living room. Then Friday I have work and sat i plan on visiting my parents. I may end up staying home though and cleaning the computer room and our bedroom. Sunday I will work on the computer room and garage. Then I can start deep cleaning the carpets and dusting and scrubbing.

So I think im gonna have some fun with it. Here are some ideas of how I will end up doing my bedroom after it is cleaned. This is gonna be a project though since I don't have the money and might have to hand make a lot of stuff.
But yeah here are my inspirations
mine will be soft green and cream shades. I love teh foot stool and the chair and headboard.

I love the plush victorian look of this room. 

I like the bedding especially the pillows. I wish I could have bookshelves like this but my room is very small. So it will basically be just my bed, the dresser, my bookshelves. The tv will be on top of the dresser. The bookshelves will contain my fun books (no textbooks) and a display for my trinkets. Eventually I want to organize the closet too with shoe racks, and drawers for my clothes etc.

I am taking a break from preparing for my final right now.
I got my results for my extra credit, i got the whole 30 points. this surprise me.

I had a dream last night where I was going to this fabulous ball. Yes an actual ball. It was a royal ball complete with kings and queens. I was a guest, some kind of duchess or something. It was strange. it was sort of like cinderella, only I was not cinderella, I was just an on looker. I was very happy. I had a family complete with husband and two children and a comfortable home. We never worried about money and I felt beautiful. I had on a hunter green dress some light colored diamond shaped earrings, a huge green crystal dangled from my neck. I had on this nice solitaire cushion cut diamond ring with an eternity band under it. My right hand was bare but had a really nice peridot bracelet on it. My shoes had crystals all over it, so that it looked like a glass slipper almost. I had really long hair that curled at the ends and my hair was piled messily on my head. I remember i was dancing. I felt so free like nothing in the world mattered. Then I noticed I was the only one dancing, I looked up to see a beautiful woman walking into the ballroom. I remember I was in awe of her beauty. She looked kind, and gentle and I felt safe knowing she was there. It was strange because as she entered I backed out and joined the rest of the crowd as I watched her dance with the prince. I was thinking that this was a moment I would always remember when I woke up. See very strange dream.

Anyways I started browsing online to try to come up with my outfit.
