Added straps

I think this would look good if I could add straps like this to the strapless dress. I like the idea of having them be able to clip on.

VDay

Was fun! George called me when I was getting ready to make spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. I was gonna surprise him by doing the dishes, cooking, cleaning up after, and getting him an eclair for desert. (I only got one for him.) Instead he called me saying that there is news. Apparently the job he is interested has finally been posted (this means either he will get promoted, or he will get a new boss) We are hoping that he gets promoted but honestly either way is still good news, it means that he will be getting additional help and will no longer have to continue doing two jobs. So he treated me out to the Cheesecake factory. Yummm!!! Unfortunately when we got there the weight was 95 minutes! Yeesh! So we walked around and looked at all the stores I wanted to go to. We went to Nordstroms and Macys to check out some possible bridesmaid dresses (no, but all were better than the dresses I saw with Kathryn.)

Almost exactly 95 minutes later our buzzer went off. The hostess led us to this tiny little seat where your elbow bumps on the wall. George was not happy. He asked to see the manager and told the manager that after waiting such a long time we wanted a booth. The manager was super accommodating and we were able to eat at a booth (way more comfortable.) Then we got great service from the waitress. I ordered two orders of my chicken samosas (appetizer) and one order of a margherita flatbread (appetizer). I thought that there were only three chicken samosas in each order but there was four. So I shared with George. He had the cashew chicken and we both enjoyed our meals. By the time we got home it was almost 10pm already. I forgot to mention he bought me a teddy bear and wait for it..wait for it...FERRARO ROCHE!!!!!! I was really happy. I just got him a card. Either way it was a great night. Luckily I had worked on homework before he got home. Also I finished the quiz this morning and got 100 percent. Yay.

Kathryn: remind me that next time you come up to stay, to take you to the Cheesecake factory. It is now super close by in Hillsdale Mall.
Also a few nights ago I had insane insomnia and browsed through etsy at some infinity dresses. I emailed the links to Roberta to see what she thinks. Here are a couple that are not like the regular ones.
with petals (I like the color but it comes in many other colors too)

not really an infinity dress, but you can wear it two ways. This also comes in diff colors.
The one below is one of my favorites so far.
Two Tone
Plus you can get any of them with a tube top so that it covers more (which I need)
Finally there is this one.
I actually like the dress with the petticoat under it. But my favorite part is a tie between the color and the full circle skirt.  Plus I think the materials range from Jersey to Organic cotton and Bamboo. I actually really like Bamboo. The designer that makes the above dress also does one in chiffon.

Finally I think they would look good with Roberta's lace dress as per this picture.

The girl is wearing a dress with a design (maybe some is lace) and the dresses look great with it.

I am incredibly impressed with Edward Bess (makeup artist)

I saw his tutorials on youtube and he has incredible hair and honestly I love his makeup hahahaha. I honestly would not mind having his hair as my own, or pretty much any of his features as my own. Perhaps the only really manly thing he has that I would go without is his brows. I like them on him because they help to make him look a little more masculine. Anyways I tried out his lip stick and wow, its the best lipstick ever!!!! It literally stays on.

I will post up swatches or pictures of me wearing his makeup line later on. I have to have a chance to be in the store or I might splurge if I find his products on ebay. The sad sad thing is that his products are extremely overpriced. I mean even more expensive than YSL and Chanel.

this link leads to his youtube video on a day look. (I totally love the look) Also I really really would love to ask him what lip color he is wearing. I would be really annoyed if he said its his natural lip color. Although I might tell him that he needs to create a lipstick that is that shade because I want my lips to look like that.

Here are some of the things I like in the product line.
1) Compact Rouge: after sunset and island rose
2) All over Seduction: Sunlight and Afterglow

3. Ultra Slick Lipstick: I love Deep Lust and Tender Rose

4. Ultra Luminous Eyeshadow: Intimate and Mystery

I also like the lip liner and eyeliner.

I think I would definitely look into the lipstick and shadows first. I say this only because I dont think the other items are worth the splurge. I also have many lip and cheek products that I already love. I do particularly love the Island rose shade though.

Goals, Weight loss, and Education/Career

So I am starting the food lovers fat loss system. I saw a showing of it on shopnbc and it was a pretty good deal. For about 22 bucks for four months, I figured it was worth a try. It focuses on portions and eating multiple times a day. I like that I am allowed to eat everything after the first 21 days and it is not a crash diet that involves eating nothing. I also like that I can eat out just controlling how I eat. It also en corporates 12 minute workouts each day. Since I have been kind of dead on my workouts its a good start. Obviously this can be paired with real workouts. I got a jumprope and am starting to do that again too. To help motivate myself I am going to give myself some rewards

Accomplishment 1: completion of 21 day metabolism makeover
mbt maryjanes. I like that I would be able to slip these on and workout at the same time.

or

get my nails done (this depends on our financial status.)

Accomplishment 2: weight loss of 20 pounds
flower bypass ring
or
silver wave earrings.

Accomplishment  3: weightloss of 40 pounds

new jeans or a dress

Accomplishment 4: weightloss of 60 pounds

LASIK OR SOME FORM OF EYE SURGERY

my goal is to do this by December.

School and Work

goal 1: finish tax course and int actg course

goal 2: adv accounting and business tax course (begin working a min of 25 hours a week)

goal 3: audit course and gift tax, and enrolled agent prep exam (work 30 hours a week)

goal 4: pass enrolled agent exam (either be working full time or become an enrolled agent)

goal 5: cpa prep course (take in 2013)

Beautifeel and similar to sleepless in seattle ring

Beautifeel in Destiny

This flat sandal looks great in pretty much every color it comes in.

Beautifeel in Khloe
I like these sandals too.

Movie: One for the Money

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1598828/

(you can see they tried to darken her hair and tan her, but she needed to be way more tan and they could have made her hair even darker)

blue words indicate author and names related to the movie and books.

I watched this the other day at work. My boss needed a break so we did lunch at hte movies. I love days like that. But I honestly was not interested in seeing this movie in the theatres. The thing is I am a huge HUGE Janet Evanovich (author) fan. I love love love the stephanie plum novels and was incredibly critical of this movie. The thing is after reading 17 out of the 18 novels written, I had envisioned what the characters might look like. When I saw the previews and saw that Katherine Heigl was playing Stephanie, I felt that was disappointing.  I actually like her as an actress but I see her as a white blonde girl. The character is from Jersey and I felt she needed to be darker, definitely far more tan than Katherine is. in the previews it looked like they barely darkened her hair too. Plus I felt like the casting of the Ranger and Morelli characters were not the best. See they are supposed to be incredibly good looking and I felt like they might be a let down in the movie.

Now going into the movie expecting to not love it, I was super impressed. I really liked the movie and actually see myself watching it over and over again. Katherine nailed the character. Also while reading the book I find myself attracted to Ranger but in the movie the character just isnt as intense. This is partially because it is easier to express Stephanie's attraction to Ranger in the book because it describes her feelings. also I kinda really like the guy who played Morelli in the movie. I did feel like the Lula character could have been cast better. She is supposed to be a big larger than life black woman. She is supposed to be large but not fat or chubby. I think that Queen Latifah would have been a better choice because she looks big but smooth at the same time. Although I did see a movie with Queen lately and noticed she lost weight, so this might be why she wasn't chosen. Ultimately I am super pleased with this movie and considering my opposition to it, I am quite happy.
