HAIR

My hair is like a battlefield!
When I do my hair I either do nothing at all and let it do whatever it wants.
or I have to attack it like im going to war.

I even have an entire arsenal of tools for my hair. When I do manage to deal with my hair it can actually look pretty good. This is a huge improvement since I used to have spider hair. Back when I had spider hair, my mom went to a hairdresser who introduced hair food which really helped to heal my hair. It is very thick and and rich so it was perfect for my course dry and thick hair. I used to use about a quarter of it on my long hair and then used a dime size when my hair was short.

now before I shower I untangle my hair with this comb which I also use after I shower. It helps to get to all my hair. It is also great for trimming.
I use it during the drying process too.
While I shower I alternate between using shampoo like head and shoulders and conditioner like Pureology and Bed Head with Wen Cleansing Conditioner.
I mostly use wen but I tend to use the head and shoulders on my foots only.

I love the new pumpkin spice scent. When I feel like it (usually once a week) I use 6 thirteen which is a treatment. I use this after I do my barre exercises.

When drying my hair I use a towel and these absorbent kitchen towels from Trader Joes. I then put in leave in product and style.

When I want my hair straight I use either my straightener or the blow dryer and my straightening brush.

I always use this on my bangs. I love how this helps a lot when I blow dry. It helps it not fly everywhere.
This is the fastest way to style my hair.

Sometimes I have a little more time and feel like having big chaz dean waves.
(wen girls)

To do this I use two round brushes and section my hair in hair clips.

Spornete porcupine 36XL
and
Philip B Boar bristle brush
This takes me about fifteen minutes to do.

To get my hair more curly I use the topstyler with two finger curls.
I use ten shells on half my head. Let it sit for twenty minutes. Remove shells and do the other half of head
These are all pretty time consuming for me. So after I style, I will generally let it be for a few days. So I won't usually style it more than once a week.

  2. Thanks it actually doesnt work that well if the hair is wet. If I do this when my hair is semi dry it is still straight, but it ends up very shiny and has tons of body. If I do this when my hair is dry, I end up with the waves like the girls have.
